Consumer Case Study

A major worldwide customer of consumable products was not only looking for a high volume stamped clip but required integration into their production process.

At Batten & Allen we not only helped with designing the clip so it could be supplied as a continuously reeled part, which helps with preventing damage through distortion and makes it cost effective for shipping, but we also designed and built the cropping and forming tool which integrates with their final assembly process.

This integration gives the customer a free production cost of the clip into their assembly.

The cropping and forming tool was built alongside the manufacture of the progression tool ensuring compatibility of tolerances and functionality of the parts.

Our service provided includes a fully detailed catalogue of parts and service requirements for the cropping and form tool and assistance in commissioning the tool on site with the customer.
